The All Wales Event for Weavers, Spinners and Dyers is a bieninal gathering of members of the Welsh Guilds of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers.
Every 2 years we meet in the Minerva Centre, Llanidloes.
The next event will be in 2021.
To get a feel for the event please take a look at the gallery pages which show the work displayed in previous years.
We share our work, catch up with old friends, discuss new techniques (and old ones), buy lovely things from our trade fair, listen to talks, drink tea, and generally have a great day out sharing our passion for our craft.
All the guilds who attend are members of the Association of Weavers, Spinners & Dyers, this national charity was set up in 1955 with the aim of helping bring together the community of craft Weavers, Spinners and Dyers. There are a network of guilds all around the country who meet regularly to share skills and further the craft. You can find a list of all the Welsh Guilds here.
Non-Guild members are also welcome to attend and to see what being a guild member is all about.
